Bar Lulas it was, The Listen Inn it became then The Laurels then

The West and then back to The Listen Inn!!!!

Once a shop, now a pub. Situated by the traffic lights in Ruislip High Street (Near the tube station), yet another establishment to change its name. Initially opening as Bar Lulas in 2004 it was refitted and changed its name to The Listen Inn, and surly there can be no better name for a music bar, then it closed for a while and in early 2006 came back as....The Laurels

Where it is, by road

At the southern end of Ruislip High Street, by the traffic lights. It has no car park and street parking is minimal. There are car parks behind the shops opposite (access via Kingsend) on a pay and display basis, traffic wardens are beamed in by Scottie, so don't push your luck!

Access via public transport

Good. Very near Ruislip Tube station and bus garage, look at the "Special Links" page for more information in the "travel" section.

Pub Crawl Potential

Good. There are two more pubs in the High Street, Sweeney's, and The George. Also Ruislip Manor is only 15 minutes walk away, turn left at the lights. You could also walk to The Orchard and the White Bear via Kingsend but this leaves you with less options for public transport. Better to start there and work back...

Is it the only pub in Ruislip with a dance floor?  Live music on Friday and Saturday nights so it gets rammed later on.  Very quiet rest of the week.(2008)

Narrow choice of drinks but polite staff and good dance floor. Bands booked on some Friday and Saturday nights from 21:30hrs but landlord persists in leaving sport programmes on screens during their performance, which is both distracting and disrespectful. – John

Anything special?

When Jordan lived in Ruislip and it was Bar Lulas she was spotted in there - so a visit is a must!!!!!!.
