	Named after the engine in a Spitfire? Who knows? But successive versions powered not only the Spitfire, but the Hawker Hurricane, de Havilland Mosquito, Mustang, the Lancaster and York bombers – and others.
	Sitting somewhat incongruously near Ruislip Manor, could this be the Manor House? Or am I Way off?
