Hey, I used to live there!

Have you moved away from Ruislip, from England even? If so tell Ruislip Online your old address and a recent picture of your house could feature here. The actual address will not be posted, so you will just have to see if you can remember/recognize it.

If by chance you spot your house here it means that somebody who used to live in it visits this site, just tell us your address and we will put them in touch with you.

If you are waiting for a picture of your old house to appear, please be patient.

Shared drive, a recipe for a big argument - it is no wonder you moved away from here.

This house likes to hide behind a curtain of green fire!

(Now that is cryptic!)

This house has had the garden at the front made in to an area where one can park a car. Judging my the wall on the right maybe somebody has had a crash course in so doing.....?

Many trees had to be felled to build this house, and in 1959 it looked like

A thorn in Mr Torme's side?
  `

Is this house in the Manor? Is it in the Gardens? Well actually it is in both AND in South Ruislip!!

On the Way to where Mike Oldfield recorded Tubular Bells?

As above, but nearer to a pension.

The Manor is not a long way off that is for sure.

In a mid life crisis this chap with a small farm could be helpful.

See above!

Cornish honey based drink is a long Way from here......

Many trees chopped down here, 44 in fact!

I feel as though I am about central in a small-holding in Scotland when I am here.

Named after the engine in a Spitfire? Who knows? But successive versions powered not only the Spitfire, but the Hawker Hurricane, de Havilland Mosquito, Mustang, the Lancaster and York bombers and others.

Sitting somewhat incongruously near Ruislip Manor, could this be the Manor House? Or am I Way off?

You need to did a ditch around this house and put a drawbridge over it, never mind a drive.....
